Road transportation in Russia and the CIS

Project

High-quality tires provide safety and on the road and the key to safe cargo transportation. Recently, in the interests of our customer we carried out transportation of 85 tons of 25’’ tires on the route from Karaganda (Kazakhstan) to the port of Arkhangelsk (Russia). It was the first experience of our customer in terms of transportation from this point of departure. Overall, six 20-tons TRASKO trucks were involved in transportation. On average, the truck accommodated 21-22 tires.

The tires were carefully placed in the semi-trailer, secured with belts. This type of fixing contributed to the careful delivery of the goods. All stages of loading have been photographed and photos were sent to the customer. In addition to direct transportation, TRASKO helped a customer to issue a CMR waybill, a document that confirms the conclusion of the contract for international cargo transportation by road.

Due to the well-coordinated work of managers of the Russia and CIS department, the cargo covered a distance of about 3,500 km in 5 days and was successfully delivered to the port of Arkhangelsk, to the place of further loading on the ship for subsequent delivery of tires to the destination point.

TRASKO has been professionally delivering a variety of goods throughout Russia and around the world for over 26 years. We would be glad to offer our experience and expertise for the successful solution of your transport and logistics issues!
